**Engineering Manager - Foundations & Enablement** **About the Role** Lead the Foundations & Enablement team—the group that keeps engineering fast, secure, and consistent. You'll own standards, tooling, and shared systems (CI/CD, security, developer experience, core platform) that other teams build on. Manage engineers across frontend and backend, balance your team's roadmap with requests from product teams, and partner with Infrastructure on platform concerns. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead and support a cross-functional engineering team focused on delivery, people development, and process improvement • Balance your team's technical roadmap with prioritized requests from multiple product teams • Maintain and evolve engineering-wide standards for security, tooling, CI/CD, and developer experience • Mentor team members and promote a culture of active coaching • Own recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes • Facilitate regular one-on-ones for goal-setting, performance evaluation, and feedback • Foster documentation, knowledge sharing, and open communication across engineering • Contribute to improving processes in a remote-first, globally distributed environment **Required Experience** • 7+ years in software development, including 2+ years of engineering leadership • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field • Comfortable operating across frontend and backend engineering • Hands-on experience with scalability, reliability, observability, and security • Experience with platform, DevOps, security, or developer-tooling work • Proven ability to lead teams in execution and resolve blockers • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • AI literacy and ability to leverage AI tools effectively **What We Offer** • Monthly remote work stipend and home office equipment package • Home office upgrades or co-working space membership • 25 days annual leave plus local holidays, parental leave • Personal development fund for courses, books, and conferences • Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP) • Annual international team-building trip and regular team events • Flexible schedules with work-life balance at our core • Fully remote, international team environment **Work Environment** Remote (home) work or Storyblok-funded co-working space
