## Senior Engineer, Security Products **About Security Products** The Security Products organization builds identity, authorization, cryptography, key management, and trust capabilities that help customers securely run sensitive workloads on CoreWeave. **About the Role** Design, build, and operate scalable, reliable web services in a distributed-systems environment. You'll work on foundational security products and services that protect customer data, enforce access decisions, and provide trustworthy building blocks for the CoreWeave platform. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and implement scalable backend services using REST and/or gRPC APIs • Own services through their full lifecycle: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and on-call support • Improve service reliability through effective error handling, retries, timeouts, and capacity planning • Establish service observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts • Collaborate with Product, Security Engineering, Infrastructure, and partner teams • Design integrations with customers' on-premises and cloud environments • Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence **Required Experience** • Strong professional experience building and operating production backend services • Experience designing and implementing RESTful and/or gRPC APIs • Deep understanding of distributed-systems principles • Fluency in Go, Java, C++, or Python (willingness to work primarily in Go) • Experience with relational or distributed data stores • Strong testing practices across unit, integration, and load testing • Sound judgment working with sensitive data and security-sensitive failure modes **Preferred Qualifications** • Authorization systems, encryption, or key management experience • OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or identity protocols • SRE and reliability practices • Service observability and performance analysis • Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure experience • Building security products for enterprise customers **Location & Compensation** Sunnyvale, CA or New York, NY (on-site, no remote option) Base salary: $182,000–$242,000 **Benefits** Medical, dental, and vision (100% paid); life insurance; disability; HSA/FSA; tuition reimbursement; ESPP; mental wellness; paid parental leave; 401(k) match; flexible PTO; catered lunch; casual work environment
