**Site Reliability Engineer I** **About the Role** Join PagerDuty's Core Infrastructure team in Atlanta to build and operate foundational infrastructure powering our real-time digital operations platform. Support millions of events and alerts daily while working at the intersection of platform evolution and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** • Support and improve foundational infrastructure (networking, compute, Kubernetes, ingress/traffic management) • Contribute to reliability and scalability by hardening systems and rolling out new capabilities • Participate in agile rituals and communicate progress/risks early • Monitor system health using metrics, logs, and alerts • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for incident detection and resolution **Basic Qualifications** • 0-1+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering • Hands-on experience with Linux-based production systems • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (load balancing, DNS, TLS, ingress) • Container orchestration experience (EKS, Kubernetes) • Cloud-native infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Go, etc.) • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation) **Preferred Qualifications** • AWS cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers) • Production Kubernetes platform experience • Monitoring/observability platforms (DataDog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana) • Service meshes, ingress controllers, or API gateways (Envoy, Istio, NGINX) **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 $98,000 - $148,500 ✨ Competitive benefits including equity, flexible work, generous PTO, paid parental leave (22 weeks pregnant/12 weeks non-pregnant), wellness programs, and more **Work Arrangement** Hybrid model with offices in Atlanta, Lisbon, London, San Francisco, Santiago, Sydney, Tokyo, and Toronto.
