The firm invests in people, innovation, and the future—supporting you to build an incredible career in a collaborative culture. **About the Role** The **Manager of Enterprise Applications** is part of Latham’s **Technology & Information Services** team. You will lead the team responsible for the **deployment and maintenance of all enterprise applications** used at the firm, including supervising and developing staff. **Location**: Global Services Office, **Downtown Los Angeles** **Work model**: May be eligible for a **flexible schedule** with **hybrid and in-office** presence. --- ## Responsibilities - Organize, assign, delegate, and coordinate staff work to meet departmental objectives **timely and accurately** - Create formal **performance evaluations** for departmental employees - Draft communications announcing **software upgrades**, **application fixes**, **security patch deployments**, and other notifications to Technology Managers across offices - Serve as the **lead resource** for enterprise technology questions, issues, upgrades, and installations - Design, implement, and maintain enterprise application systems within your vertical (examples include **business productivity tools**, **AI tools**, **Microsoft Teams**, and the **Microsoft 365 suite**) - Develop and deploy **software fixes**, **security patches**, and **feature updates** to maintain a secure and stable environment - Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information --- ## Qualifications **You should have knowledge/proficiency in:** - Multi-tier enterprise application platforms, including: - **Microsoft SQL databases** - **Web services** (e.g., **Microsoft IIS** and **Apache Tomcat**) - Application-specific services - Analytical skills to troubleshoot symptoms, diagnose problems, and recommend/implement solutions - Ability to use database software, spreadsheets, and word processing tools/equipment to complete analysis and reports **Required experience/education:** - **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field - **5+ years** of experience in Information Technology - **3+ years** of experience in Information Technology management - **5+ years** of experience in IT software within the **legal industry** (preferred) --- ## Benefits & Additional Information Successful candidates receive a generous total compensation package, including bonuses tied to individual and firm performance.
