Mission-driven with a culture of urgency, accountability, and transparency. **About This Role** General Matter seeks an experienced IT Manager to support the growing Paducah, KY site. You'll oversee IT systems, implement best practices, and drive technology initiatives aligned with business goals. Play a pivotal role in scaling infrastructure while maintaining security, efficiency, and reliability in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** • Work with engineers to gather requirements and deploy Microsoft enterprise platforms • Manage highly resilient, high-performance, scalable systems • Implement improvements using change control methodology • Design and deliver creative solutions across diverse groups • Define and document standards and best practices • Ensure uptime of critical business systems • Optimize security and performance of infrastructure • Build automation at scale for improved efficiency **Basic Qualifications** • Bachelor's in computer science/engineering + 3+ years systems administration OR 5+ years professional experience • Experience with physical and virtualized server environments • 5+ years with Active Directory, Kerberos, Entra ID, and multi-platform authentication • 5+ years managing Windows-based systems in physical and virtual environments • 5+ years monitoring mission-critical enterprise environments **Preferred Skills** • Expertise in scalable, high-availability systems architectures • Web, Python, PowerShell, and bash scripting knowledge • Linux administration experience • Automation platforms (Ansible, Salt, Chef) • Networking (IPv4, IPSEC VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, HA architecture) • Excellent communication skills **Compensation & Benefits** **Base Salary:** $180,000–$260,000 (based on experience and qualifications) Benefits include stock options, medical/vision/dental coverage, 401(k), HSA/FSA, commuter benefits, and unlimited time off. **Additional Requirements** • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed • Equal Opportunity Employer
