**Databricks Data Engineer SME - Clearance Required** **Company:** LMI **Overview:** LMI is seeking a skilled Databricks Data Engineer SME to serve as a senior technical lead for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Revenue Cycle Operating System (RevOS). You'll design and implement a scalable data foundation within a Databricks-based War Data Platform environment. **Key Responsibilities:** • Lead technical design and implementation of RevOS data architecture within Databricks • Assess and remediate DHA's revenue-cycle data structures • Develop Bronze → Silver → Gold medallion architecture • Design Gold data products and analytical data marts for dashboards • Develop Databricks SQL and AI/BI dashboards with optimized performance • Build reusable semantic datasets and KPI calculations • Implement entity resolution and data quality controls • Configure Unity Catalog, security, and access controls • Develop Delta Lake structures and optimize performance • Partner with Data Scientists and Revenue Cycle SMEs • Mentor Data Engineers and establish best practices **Required Qualifications:** • Active SECRET Clearance • Bachelor's Degree + 10+ years enterprise data engineering experience • Senior-level hands-on Databricks experience • Expertise in Databricks visualization, SQL, and AI/BI dashboards • Strong SQL, Python, PySpark, and Delta Lake skills • Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architecture experience • Data modeling, quality engineering, and governance knowledge • Healthcare or regulated environment experience • PHI/PII and controlled data handling capability **Preferred Qualifications:** • War Data Platform (WDP) or Advana experience • DoD enterprise Databricks development • DHA/MHS/DoD healthcare data experience • MHS GENESIS/Cerner Millennium knowledge • Healthcare revenue-cycle expertise • ODCS, GitLab DevSecOps, or Collibra experience • DoD RMF/NIST/IL4-IL5 familiarity **Salary Range:** $123,000 - $160,000 **Location:** US-Remote
