**Senior Software Engineer - PA053** **About the Role:** Join ZoomInfo's Apps team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, building and scaling core backend services. You'll work primarily with Node.js to develop robust, high-performance systems serving millions of users. Design scalable microservices, optimize existing systems, and build infrastructure enabling rapid feature development. **What You'll Do:** • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js • Architect and implement microservices handling high-volume traffic • Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate development • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature design and delivery • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code • Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems • Contribute to technical architecture decisions • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions **Required Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 6+ years backend development with Node.js and Angular • 3+ years designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems • 2+ years leading projects and providing technical leadership • Strong Node.js framework expertise • RESTful API design and microservices architecture experience • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) **Preferred Qualifications:** • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering • Java backend development experience • AI-assisted development tools experience (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) • Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) • Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps knowledge • Message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) • Performance optimization and scalability expertise **Compensation:** $140,000 – $220,000 USD (base salary; additional compensation may apply) **Work Type:** Hybrid **About ZoomInfo:** ZoomInfo (NASDAQ: GTM) is the Go-To-Market Intelligence Platform empowering businesses to grow faster with AI-ready insights, trusted data, and advanced automation.
