We combine powerful analytics with AI to help teams understand how people use their products. **About The Team** The Data Runtime team owns the data execution layer powering every Mixpanel product. We ensure every customer query runs fast, cheap, and reliably at any scale. Our OLAP engine queries 500+ trillion events and processes 300 PiB/month. We're a senior-heavy team with Staff-level engineers investing in elastic query compute and distributed file caching. **The Role** As a Software Engineer III (L3), you'll design and build systems that execute every query at Mixpanel. You'll contribute to technical design for distributed-systems projects including elastic query compute, distributed file cache, columnar storage, and compaction.
