BHN leverages blockchain, smart contracts, serverless technology, and real-time payment systems to help unlock the next million users through innovation. ## Internship Overview **Technology Intern** — Internship runs during the **summer of 2027**. ## Responsibilities As a Technology Intern at BHN, you will work with software developers and architects to build large-scale big data processing systems that handle multi-billion-dollar financial transactions with penny-level precision. You may have the opportunity to work on: - **Stream-processing systems** (e.g., Spark Streaming) - **DevOps pipelines** and **CI/CD** systems - **Large-scale transaction processing** using technologies such as **REST**, **microservices**, **Spark**, **AWS Lambda**, **Kinesis**, **Elastic**, and more - **Data & Analytics platforms** applying **ML/AI** and **Big Data** techniques - **Real-time risk/fraud systems** to detect and prevent financial fraud - **Secure and scalable cloud infrastructure** ## Areas of Discipline - Cyber Security - Big Data and ML - Core Software Engineering - Infrastructure and DevOps - Product Management - Enterprise Program Management - UX ## Qualifications - Strong engineering fundamentals - Solid background in **algorithms**, **data structures**, and **coding** - Currently enrolled in a **Bachelor’s/Master’s** program in **STEM** - Enrolled in an **accredited** college or university - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Willingness to learn, be inquisitive, and passionate - Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills ## Benefits - **Salary Range:** **$25.00/hr to $30.00/hr** (based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, etc.) - **401(k)** with employer match - **Medical, dental, vision** - **12 paid holidays** in 2027 - **1 hour of sick pay accrual** for every 30 hours worked - **Parental leave** - **Life insurance**, **disability insurance**, **accident and illness insurance** *Note: Some benefits text is truncated in the source description.*
