Named by Fortune as one of the Best Workplaces in Healthcare, we foster a culture of kindness, respect, and meaningful work. **About This Role** We're seeking a skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to support data infrastructure and business insights, with focus on growth, marketing, and patient acquisition analytics. You'll operate across the entire data pipeline, collaborating with our Principal Data Engineer to build reliable, scalable data assets while empowering analysts and stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. **Key Responsibilities** • **Data Modeling & Pipeline Development** – Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines; develop production-grade models in BigQuery using dbt; manage Fivetran ingestion workflows • **Stakeholder Partnership** – Translate business requests into structured data projects; communicate insights to technical and non-technical leaders; design Looker/LookML reporting structures • **Team Mentorship** – Mentor data analysts; establish best practices for code reviews and testing; bridge data engineering and analysis • **Data Quality & Governance** – Implement validation and monitoring; define data standards and single-source-of-truth architectures; maintain comprehensive documentation • **Continuous Improvement** – Identify data gaps and optimization opportunities; thrive in fast-paced startup environment **What You Bring** • 6+ years in analytics engineering, data analysis, or related full-stack data roles • Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on dbt experience • Strong BigQuery expertise and cloud data warehouse optimization • Proven track record with Fivetran and Looker/LookML • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Familiarity with data governance, Git, and HIPAA-compliant environments • Startup experience with ability to operate autonomously • **Strongly preferred:** Marketing/Growth analytics experience **Nice to Have** • Healthcare data analytics experience (EHRs, claims data) • Familiarity with Substance Use Disorder populations • Proficiency with AI tools for productivity and analytics **Work Environment** • Fully remote (must reside in: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WV) • Full-time, 40 hours/week **Compensation & Benefits** • **Salary:** $155,000–$170,000/year (based on experience and location) • Medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability coverage • Mental health services (Talkspace, EAP) • 4 weeks vacation (5 weeks after 2 years) • 9 paid holidays + sick leave • 12 weeks 100% paid parental leave • 401(k) retirement savings • Hardware provided **Our Values** Patients always come first • Our opportunity is also our duty • Move the industry forward, follow the data • Facts to change minds, empathy to change hearts • Turn bold ideas into bolder action • Strong individuals, stronger together *Boulder Care celebrates diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities.
