**Software Engineer** | Chicago, IL | Full Time **About Fooda:** Fooda pioneered rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 60 cities with 100M+ meals served, powering workplace food programs through technology and a network of 3,500+ restaurants. **The Role:** Design and develop new software features to improve platform efficiency. Maintain and refactor legacy applications. Develop automated testing units. Conduct quality assurance reviews. Research emerging technologies. **Technical Stack:** Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RSpec, JavaScript, NodeJS, TypeScript, Angular, HTML/CSS, REST/GraphQL API, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Shell Script, Nginx, React **Requirements:** • Master's in CS/CE or related field + 2 years Software Engineering experience *OR* Bachelor's in CS/CE or related field + 5 years progressive experience • Proficiency in required technical skills listed above • Authorization to work in the US • Some telecommuting permitted **Compensation & Benefits:** • Salary: $153,317 - $160,000 (based on experience, training, location, skills) • Competitive base salary + stock options • Comprehensive health, dental, vision coverage • 401(k) with company match • Paid maternity/parental leave • Flexible spending accounts • Company-issued laptop • Daily subsidized lunch program *No recruiters please.*
