**DevOps Lead (FedRAMP)** **Location:** East Coast, US (Remote) **About the Role:** Own Orca's FedRAMP environment end-to-end—infrastructure, authorization, and relationships with agencies and assessors. This is a builder's role with real authority where you'll be the most senior engineer in the federal environment, setting technical direction while keeping your hands on the system. You'll grow a small US-based team over time while designing automation to treat FedRAMP 20x compliance as an automation problem. **What You'll Do:** • Build and operate the federal environment across AWS GovCloud, AWS East/West, Azure Government, Azure Commercial, and GCP • Own infrastructure code (EKS, Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, FIPS endpoints, hardened images, secrets management, logging) • Design automation for continuous configuration validation, drift detection, and evidence collection • Run continuous monitoring, POA&M, inventory, and reporting • Own authorization artifacts and lead transition to OSCAL • Lead annual assessments and 3PAO engagements • Be Orca's interface to FedRAMP PMO, agency sponsors, and assessors • Represent Orca to federal customers in security reviews and architecture deep dives **Who You Are:** • 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with genuine production ownership • Real FedRAMP authorization experience • Deep AWS expertise including GovCloud • Kubernetes in production (operating, debugging, upgrading) • 3+ years Terraform and infrastructure as code at scale • Fluency in NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 • Python or equivalent automation language • Vulnerability management in regulated environments • US-based with federal personnel screening eligibility • Comfortable working with Israel-based R&D with Israel time overlap **Bonus:** FedRAMP 20x, OSCAL, DoD IL4/IL5, CMMC, compliance automation tools, security product background, CS degree **What We Offer:** • Competitive salary ($230,000 - $260,000) and equity • Medical, dental, vision with employer contribution • Benefits from day one • Generous PTO and flexible work • Laptop choice (Mac/Windows) • Work-from-home stipend • Cell phone and internet reimbursement *Equal opportunity employer*
