**Director, Test & Evaluation - Robotics** **About the Role** Lead executive and technical oversight of Anduril's Test Operations, Test Engineering, and Test Automation teams. Drive end-to-end test and evaluation across multi-domain unmanned hardware, integrating and validating Lattice Command & Control (C2) and Collaborative Autonomy (CA) capabilities. Scale automated SIL/HIL frameworks and high-tempo field testing to accelerate engineering development. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead Flight Test and Test Engineering teams with technical guidance and mentorship • Establish flight test methodologies for evaluating mission autonomy capabilities • Develop capacity planning for flight test capabilities supporting future initiatives • Drive verification and validation (V&V) of Lattice C2 and Collaborative Autonomy behaviors • Architect and scale automated SIL, HIL, and regression test pipelines • Oversee live test execution, infrastructure, range safety, instrumentation, and telemetry • Ensure FAA, FCC, and regulatory compliance across all operations • Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling for flight test campaigns • Create standardized processes, metrics, and KPIs for continuous improvement **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or related field • 10+ years testing unmanned aerial systems; 5+ years in leadership • Expertise in software and hardware integration for autonomous systems • Proven success leading flight test operations for mission-critical platforms • Strong aviation regulations and compliance knowledge for unmanned systems • Experience managing diverse technical teams • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills • Current FAA Part 107 certification or ability to obtain • Flexibility for travel to test sites **Preferred Qualifications** • Advanced degree in relevant technical or management field • Experience with multi-agent collaborative autonomy or swarming architectures • Proficiency with Python, C++, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, Git • Eligible for U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 $220,000 – $292,000 USD Competitive equity grants, comprehensive benefits package, and top-tier employee support.
