**Director of Engineering, Enterprise Systems** **About the Role:** Lead the Enterprise Systems Team within Technology Operations, partnering with finance, business, analytics, product, and engineering stakeholders. You'll design, develop, and deliver business-facing products, system enhancements, and critical reporting to support global operations. **Key Responsibilities:** • Work closely with business and product teams to lead cross-product improvements and initiatives • Write code to implement new tools and platforms, and maintain existing ones • Review and update existing integrations • Drive architecture evaluations and decisions to build reliable and observable systems • Build rapport with stakeholders, manage expectations and deadlines • Mentor and manage a team to align resources with priorities and oversee quality of work **Required Qualifications:** • Bachelor's Degree with engineering/technical background • 10+ years of experience writing code • 5+ years on a fintech/enterprise technology team • Strong experience with JS/TS and PHP in enterprise environments • Strong SQL skills • Hands-on experience with financial systems (ERP, AP Automation, AR Receivables, Travel & Expense, O2C, R2R, P2P) • Critical thinking and analytical skills with attention to detail • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems • *Plus:* Experience with NetSuite, Softco, Expensify, Salesforce, payments platforms **Work Environment:** • Hybrid role: 2 days/week in NYC office (Empire State Building) • Remote flexibility: up to 20 days/year work from anywhere • Global team collaboration across multiple time zones **Benefits:** • Mental health support (SpringHealth therapy, Headspace subscription) • Annual company-wide week off • Paid parental leave and generous PTO • Development dollars and leadership training • Free lunch 5 days/week, office gym and amenities • Competitive base salary, bonus eligibility, and equity grants
