**Staff Software Engineer, Build Services - Teamfight Tactics** **About the Role** Provide technical leadership, architectural design, and hands-on implementation for core systems supporting build processes, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, release management, and developer tools on the Teamfight Tactics Core Tech team. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop and maintain patterns, tooling, and standards for foundational systems • Maintain and optimize critical systems for game development and deployment • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline configuration and test automation efforts • Build and maintain tools for efficient release and version management • Participate in technical and architectural discussions across teams • Champion engineering excellence and code quality standards • Mentor engineers and sustain a culture of collaboration • Own build engineering operations, including monitoring dashboards and Slack integrations • Maintain build metrics and provide robust CI build support **Required Qualifications** • 6+ years professional software development experience • 4+ years professional experience with C++/Java • 3+ years professional experience with Unreal Engine and Horde • Demonstrated experience with Mobile and PC/desktop build environments • 3+ years Perforce experience • Experience with game build processes, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and test automation • Strong OO C/C++/C# programming and data-driven design principles • Product sense, pragmatism, and developer empathy • BS in Computer Science or proven understanding of CS fundamentals **Desired Qualifications** • Online SaaS game development experience • Experience building developer workflows • Mobile or multi-platform performance profiling • Track record contributing to central technology groups and organizational goals **Benefits** Open PTO, flexible work schedules, medical/dental/life insurance, parental leave, 401k with company match, and more. *Riot Games is an equal opportunity employer committed to building collaborative teams where you can bring your unique perspective.*
