**Software Engineer, IAM** **About the Team** Identity and Access Management team is responsible for creating a secure, reliable and seamless Identity Management Platform for all Postman users. This team authenticates and authorizes every request that reaches Postman space. **What You'll Do** • Build and optimize auth standards and protocols (OAuth2.0, OIDC, SCIM, SAML) • Develop secure, reliable and scalable IAM platform components • Research role engineering, session management, and implement standardized formats • Contribute to APIs and products with cross-functional teams • Architect solutions and facilitate knowledge sharing on best practices • Design and build internal tooling for product development and maintenance **About You** • 5+ years building complex backend or distributed systems at scale • Proficient with Javascript, Node.js, React.js, and web fundamentals • Strong database fundamentals (query optimization, schema design, indexing, caching) • Proven track record building products from scratch • (Bonus) Understanding of auth products, protocols, and methods • Enjoy learning and sharing knowledge across teams • Product-oriented mindset with user empathy **Compensation & Benefits** Base salary: $150,000 - $190,000 + competitive equity Full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, monthly lunch stipend, team-building events, donation-matching program **Work Location** In-office 5 days/week at hubs in San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Austin, New York City, Tokyo, or London (Bangalore: 3 days/week transitioning to 5)
