About this role
**Technical Services Engineer, Portworx** **THE ROLE** As a Technical Support Engineer for Portworx® by Everpure™, you will empower enterprise customers to successfully run containerized workloads at scale across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. You will act as a trusted cloud-native technical advisor throughout the entire lifecycle—from initial proof-of-concept installations to critical production deployments. Collaborate directly with cross-functional engineering, product, and customer success teams to diagnose complex distributed software challenges, accelerate incident resolution, and drive seamless cloud data management for global organizations. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** • **Optimize Cloud-Native Deployments:** Analyze, troubleshoot, and support large-scale enterprise deployments of Portworx® across Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware container solutions, and public cloud platforms • **Drive Full-Stack Incident Resolution:** Investigate and resolve complex multi-layer application, storage, and cloud infrastructure issues across all severity levels • **Partner with Core Engineering:** Collaborate with product engineering teams to isolate edge cases and implement robust fixes • **Champion Pre-Sales & Production Success:** Provide hands-on technical support during pre-sales engagements, POC installations, and live production expansions • **Expand Collective Knowledge:** Author internal and customer-facing Knowledge Base articles, technical guides, and FAQs **WHAT YOU BRING** • **Experience:** Minimum 2-4 years in customer-facing technical support or SRE roles • **Container & Cloud Orchestration Expertise:** Proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tanzu, or VMware container solutions; AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud • **DevOps & Infrastructure Automation:** Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet • **Analytical Problem-Solving:** Proven ability to triage and resolve issues in complex, distributed cloud architectures • **Customer-Centric Communication:** Strong collaboration skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders **LOCATION:** Santa Clara, CA (In-office) **COMPENSATION:** $153,000 – $230,000 USD annually *Eligible for incentive pay and/or equity* **WHAT WE OFFER** Innovation, growth opportunities, collaborative team environment, flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored events.
