**Solutions Architect - Global Telecommunications** **Position ID:** FEQ227R233 **About the Role** As a Sr. Solutions Architect, you'll be an expert-level technical leader driving Databricks' most complex customer engagements. You'll own executive-level relationships, drive consumption strategy, and serve as the definitive technical authority for your accounts. **Key Responsibilities** • Drive technical and consumption strategy for complex customer engagements • Own senior-level technical relationships as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy • Lead complex architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, enterprise migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale • Operate as a Platform Expert with a declared technical specialization • Develop competitive strategies and position Databricks against competing platforms • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions • Coach and mentor junior Solutions Architects • Contribute to thought leadership through customer-facing content and workshops **Required Qualifications** • 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, or senior customer-facing technical roles • Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark • Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, streaming/real-time, lakehouse design, data governance, cloud-native platforms • Expert-level Databricks Platform knowledge • Declared technical specialization (real-time architectures, ML/AI, data governance, migrations, etc.) • Proven track record driving consumption growth in large accounts • Executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders • Experience with competitive displacements and enterprise evaluations • Ability to travel 30% of the time • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline **Nice to Have** • Databricks certifications • Experience at Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or top-tier data/AI companies • Published thought leadership (blogs, conference talks, open source) • Telco industry vertical expertise **Compensation** Base Salary Range: $219,100 – $301,300 USD (all zones) *Actual compensation based on skills, experience, certifications, and location* **Interview Process** Recruiter Screen → Hiring Manager Screen → Design and Architecture Interview → Live Coding Assessment → Build, Demo, Pitch Presentation → Reference Check **About Databricks** Databricks is the Data and AI company. 20,000+ organizations worldwide—including 70% of the Fortune 500—rely on the Databricks Data + AI Platform.
