The **PDP Experience** team is responsible for one of the highest-traffic pages on the platform: the **Comments page**. Since conversations are the lifeblood of Reddit, the team works to make viewing content and the surrounding discussion **appealing, intuitive, and delightful**. This is a high-impact role driving technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for one of the largest sites in the world. ### What You’ll Do - Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering partners to execute on product and business strategy and build novel products and features. - Contribute across the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch (including reviewing code and design docs, and giving feedback on product specs and mocks). - Help shape team strategy—everyone has a seat at the table and is encouraged to actively participate in planning. - Collaborate with a team of thoughtful, fast-moving engineers; contribute to standards that improve developer workflows and recommend best practices. - Move fast while balancing quality—build brand-new products quickly without show-stopping bugs. - Continuously learn and improve both technical and non-technical skills. ### Who You Might Be - BS degree in Computer Science (or similar technical field) or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum **3+ years** of post-internship, full-time, hands-on professional software development experience in **large-scale distributed systems**. - **3+ years** of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., **Go**, **Python**, ...).
