**Platform Architect** *Remote, United States* **About the Role** Lead the creation and execution of strategic cloud architecture and platform initiatives. Drive innovation and ensure seamless integration of complex cloud solutions across the organization. Set architectural standards, conduct POCs, evaluate tools, mentor teams, and influence overall cloud strategy. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead platform/cloud strategy development aligned with organizational objectives • Design and oversee complex, multi-cloud architectures with hands-on involvement • Establish and enforce platform-specific standards and best practices • Collaborate with executive leadership on cloud strategy and roadmaps • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies • Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and tools • Drive continuous improvement in cloud architecture practices • Mentor and coach team members on architectural best practices **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years as a Platform or Cloud Architect • Mastery in 2+ general purpose programming languages • Master-level expertise in: cloud hosting design patterns, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, multi-cloud architectures • Solution Architect Professional or equivalent (AWS/Azure) • Excellent software modeling and executive presence skills • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities **Technology Stack** AWS, Azure, GCP • Terraform, Pulumi • GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps • Docker, Kubernetes • Prisma Cloud, AWS Security Hub **Nice to Have** • Multi-cloud experience (AWS + Azure) • Cloud security, compliance, and governance knowledge • FinOps and cost optimization experience • Published thought leadership or speaking experience **Compensation & Benefits** $148,000 - $170,000 base salary + benefits and variable compensation 401(k) • Flexible Schedule • PTO • Medical/Dental/Vision • Wellness Reimbursement • Paid Parental Leave • Sabbatical Program **About Hyland** Pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™.
