**Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (Auth0)** **About the Role** Lead Okta's SRE team as the backbone of our platform's reliability and operational excellence. You'll drive technical direction, mentor senior engineers, and ensure Auth0 remains the trusted authentication platform for millions of users worldwide. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead SRE team's technical direction and cross-functional initiatives • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations (follow-the-sun weekdays, shared weekends) • Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and automation improvements • Champion reliability best practices and blameless incident response culture • Mentor and develop SRE talent through pair programming and code reviews • Represent reliability in architectural reviews and strategic planning **Required Experience** • 3+ years hands-on team leadership in SRE/software engineering (cloud-native) • 8+ years total industry experience • Deep expertise in AWS/Azure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) • Strong programming skills in Go or Python • Experience with containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and databases • Data-driven mindset grounded in SRE principles • Exceptional communication skills for high-pressure incidents • Proven ability to build and lead globally distributed, remote-first teams **Nice to Have** • Led reliability initiatives improving uptime and incident response times • Open-source infrastructure/observability contributions • Designed comprehensive incident response programs and runbook automation **Compensation & Benefits** $182,000 – $250,800 USD (California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Washington) Equity, bonus, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and parental leave **Requirements** Must be able to access federal environments and establish U.S. Person status upon hire. **Job ID:** P13036
