**Senior Site Reliability Engineer** **About Cross River** Cross River builds the infrastructure behind the world's most innovative financial products. We power payments, cards, lending, and digital asset capabilities trusted by leading fintechs, enterprises, and disruptors globally. **The Role** We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems. **Key Responsibilities** • Define DevOps guardrails, standards, and best practices across engineering teams • Enable teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments • Co-develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform • Establish deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling) • Build developer self-service tooling and internal platforms • Champion "shift-left" culture for reliability and security • Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets • Build observability stacks (New Relic, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) • Lead incident response and blameless post-mortems • Perform capacity planning and performance engineering • Eliminate toil through automation • Conduct reliability reviews and chaos engineering exercises • Support .NET-based services on Windows and Linux **Required Qualifications** • 8+ years SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering experience • 5+ years with AWS (preferred) • Strong Terraform proficiency • Deep CI/CD pipeline design and automation experience • Docker and container orchestration (ECS preferred) • Observability tools: New Relic, ELK, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, or Grafana • Scripting/programming: .NET, PowerShell, Python, Go, or Bash • Strong Linux and Windows systems administration • Solid networking knowledge (DNS, load balancing, CDNs, security) • Strong communication skills **Nice-to-Have** • Service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd, AWS App Mesh) • SRE frameworks knowledge • Secrets management tools • Financial services compliance experience (SOC 2, PCI-DSS) • Chaos engineering tools • .NET production support experience • GitOps workflows • FinOps and cost optimization practices **Salary Range:** $160,000 - $200,000 **Location:** Remote
