**Staff Enterprise Security Engineer, AI Security** **About the Role** Join Twilio as a Staff Engineer leading enterprise security strategy. You'll be a technical leader responsible for the foundational security posture of the organization, serving as an SME on technical strategy and engineering execution for securing the AI ecosystem in the Enterprise. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and implement secure reference architectures for Enterprise AI platforms • Establish a framework for AI vetting and institutionalize strategic security mindset • Collaborate cross-functionally on agentic AI identity and posture management roadmap • Maintain and improve enterprise security posture through code (Python, Go, etc.) and infrastructure management • Mentor junior engineers and advise leadership on evolving AI landscape **Required Qualifications** • 7+ years in security engineering or infrastructure security • 2+ years leading teams in technical/staff engineering capacity at enterprise • Expertise in cloud security (AWS, GCP) and container security (Kubernetes) • Proven track record designing and deploying complex security systems at scale • Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java **Desired Qualifications** • Experience building and deploying automation for complex security workflows • Excellent communication skills explaining AI security risks to non-technical stakeholders **Location & Travel** Remote (not eligible for San Francisco Bay Area, Oakland, or San Jose, CA). Occasional travel required for team meetings. **Compensation** (varies by location) • Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, DC: $155,520 - $194,400 • NY, NJ, WA, CA (outside Bay Area): $164,640 - $205,800 • San Francisco Bay Area: $182,960 - $228,700 Eligible for equity plan, corporate bonus, health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave.
