**Senior Security Solutions Engineer** **About the Role** Help customers achieve effective security policy outcomes using Fastly's suite of security offerings. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of Fastly's Next-Gen WAF and expertise in web application security best practices. **What You'll Do** • Onboard new customers to Fastly Security Products • Architect, implement, and maintain Next-Gen WAF solutions across Edge, Cloud, and On-Prem deployments • Provide guidance on features, health checks, and performance tuning • Write and present training materials to customers and internal teams • Assist with pre-sales activities, including Proof-of-Concept work **What We're Looking For** • 4+ years in Solutions Engineering or similar customer-facing technical role • 3+ years creating and delivering advanced web and security solutions for enterprise customers • Strong knowledge of web application security (OWASP Top 10, DDoS, rate limiting) • Deep understanding of HTTP, TLS, and troubleshooting tools (curl, dig, tcpdump) • Experience with project management and solution delivery **Nice to Have** • Experience with Rust, Go, or Javascript • Security or cloud certifications (CISSP, CISA, AWS, GCP) • Experience writing/decoding security exploits • Bilingual English/Spanish **Work Details** • Hours: 9am–6pm MST/CST, core business hours required • Occasional nights/weekends for on-call coverage • Hybrid/Remote (Denver, San Francisco, or US Central preferred) • Salary: $123,330–$147,996 • Equity and bonus eligibility **Benefits** Medical, dental, vision • Mental health support • Life/disability insurance • Flexible vacation • 18 days paid sick leave • 401(k) with match • ESPP • 12 paid holidays + 12 wellness days
