## Software Engineer - Content Ingestion **About the Role** Design, build, and maintain ingestion pipelines that process millions of assets from linear feeds and multimedia files, powering real-time content matching, recommendations, and advertising insights for Roku's ACR platform. This full-stack role spans cloud (AWS/GCP) and on-premises environments, with a focus on APIs, batch jobs, and infrastructure. You'll serve as a key liaison between US-based content partners and the engineering team in Seoul, South Korea. **What You'll Be Doing** • Design, implement, and maintain APIs and batch jobs for asset ingestion, processing, and distribution • Create and manage infrastructure for on-premise and cloud deployments using Terraform and Ansible • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager • Participate in on-call rotations for critical production services • Optimize system performance, reduce costs, and manage technical debt • Communicate with US-based content partners to gather requirements • Collaborate with international teams in Utah and Seoul, South Korea • Drive AI methodologies and agentic AI workflows within code repositories • Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes • Work with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control **We're Excited If You Have** • 1-3 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud operations • Proficiency in Python, Bash, C++, or Go • Experience with AWS and/or GCP (Compute, Storage, Networking, Managed Services) • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes • Strong Linux and command-line skills • Experience with relational (Postgres) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases • Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, message queues, and scaling strategies • Fluency with agentic engineering tools (Claude Code, Cursor, MCP servers) • Excellent problem-solving and cross-timezone communication skills • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations **Work Arrangement** Hybrid - Office Monday-Thursday, flexible Fridays for remote work **Benefits** Comprehensive benefits including mental health and financial wellness support, healthcare (medical, dental, vision), life/disability insurance, commuter benefits, and retirement options (401k/pension).
