Powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system delivering cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology. **About the Team** Air Dominance & Strike designs, builds, and flies autonomous air vehicles. The AI-Engineering team collapses design iteration loops through engineering-first principles and machine learning, building scalable agent pipelines and tooling across programs. **About the Role** Automate engineering workflows and build new capability through agents to improve how engineers access and act on their data. Own agent pipelines end-to-end: orchestration logic, tool and data integrations, evaluation harnesses, and guardrails. Chain R&D tools from empirical methods to high-fidelity solvers into automated flows. **What You'll Do** • Build and deploy multi-agent pipelines compressing the engineering design loop (CFD, FEA, thermal, electromagnetics) • Design agent interactions with classical engineering software: tool calling, prompt engineering, task decomposition, state management • Automate data extraction and aggregation across solvers, test benches, and program systems • Build bespoke tooling through agents for aerodynamics, thermal, GNC, structures, and avionics • Choose and optimize models at each stage, tuning routing and context management for efficiency • Build evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and sandboxed execution for agent deployment **Location** Onsite in Costa Mesa, CA **Note** Defense experience not required. We seek engineers who came to machine learning through problems they were solving.
