**Senior Salesforce Engineer** **About the Role** Elastic is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Engineer who combines deep architectural intuition, clean coding, and sharp debugging skills with an AI-native workflow. You'll dive into platforms like Salesforce and MuleSoft while holding an end-to-end ownership mindset to elevate engineering practices and turn ambiguous business challenges into high-quality, reliable production solutions. **What You'll Be Doing** • Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end (UI, APIs, business logic, data models, integrations) • Build modern frontend experiences and robust backend services with solid OOP and design principles • Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) throughout the SDLC • Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration practices • Develop using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce security model • Explore and build agentic and AI-powered features that bring automation and intelligence to business processes • Own features through the full lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and production support • Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and raise the bar on engineering practices **What You Bring** • 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline • Proficiency in modern frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and backend development (OOP, REST APIs, databases/SQL) • Daily hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) • Solid grounding in software design patterns, SDLC, Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to design scalable technical solutions • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills **Bonus Points** • True engineer at heart who can reason about architecture, write clean code, and diagnose hard bugs • AI-native mindset—you reach for AI tools by default to build fluency across the stack • Curious and adaptable—comfortable picking up new platforms quickly • Ownership mindset and drive to elevate engineers around you • Excited about applying AI meaningfully to real business problems **Compensation** Base salary range: $94,300–$149,200 USD (select locations: $113,300–$179,200 USD) Stock program eligibility, 401(k) matching up to 6%, and comprehensive benefits package. **Why Join Elastic** • Competitive pay based on the work you do • Health coverage for you and your family • Flexible locations and schedules • Generous vacation days • Up to $2,000 annual donation matching • 40 hours/year for volunteer work • Minimum 16 weeks parental leave • Distributed, inclusive culture celebrating diverse perspectives
