**Senior IT Systems Engineer, IT Innovation** **About Spring Health** Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We're building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person through our AI-native platform delivering personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. **The Role** Spring Health's IT Innovations team builds automations and integrations that help every team move faster. As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you'll tackle the most complex work—where requirements are ambiguous, systems are interdependent, and the right approach isn't yet obvious. You'll turn manual processes into reliable automations and establish patterns the team builds from. **What You'll Do** • Design and deliver complex, business-critical automations and integrations, including AI-powered and agentic workflows • Choose technical approaches where no established pattern exists and document them for team adoption • Address root causes, not just symptoms—fixing structural issues in integrations and workflows • Develop reusable patterns, shared components, and agent building blocks for team-wide use • Guide technical principles and help shape standards with Security and Compliance • Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response for production automations • Serve as escalation point for IT Systems Engineers and lead investigations when issues arise • Work as a technical peer on integration design across the company • Cultivate vendor and platform partner relationships • Support growth of IT Systems Engineers through design review and mentoring **What You'll Bring** • 7+ years in automation, integration, or IT systems engineering with hands-on delivery of business-critical automations • Deep experience with Workato (preferred) or similar iPaaS platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray, n8n) • Experience integrating enterprise systems (IAM, HR, ticketing, finance) using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns • Track record of designing reusable patterns adopted by other engineers • Hands-on experience building AI-powered and agentic workflows in governed environments • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python • Ability to choose approaches on unfamiliar problems and defend with evidence • Experience partnering with engineering and security colleagues on technical design • Ability to influence without authority and grow less experienced engineers • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience (Workato certification a plus) **Compensation & Benefits** Target base salary: **$125,000 - $138,000** (part of competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits) • Health, Dental, Vision benefits starting day one + One Medical access • HSA/FSA plans with up to $1K Spring contribution • 401(k) match up to 2% • Yearly therapy, coaching, and medication management visits for you and dependents • Competitive PTO including vacation, sick leave, and company holidays • Parental leave: 18 weeks (birthing parents), 16 weeks (non-birthing parents) • Access to Noom, Carrot fertility support ($4K reimbursement), Wellhub, and BrightHorizons • Up to $1,000 annual Professional Development Reimbursement • $200 annual donation matching **Location:** Fully remote within the United States **Reporting to:** Director, IT System Engineering
