## Forward Deployed Engineer (Secret Clearance Required) ### Overview LMI is seeking a skilled **Forward Deployed Engineer** to integrate advanced technologies into existing business processes, build new functionality, ensure successful software deployments, and work closely with customers. This role supports the **Sales Engineering** team and engages directly with customers **on-site (hybrid), or remotely**, with **occasional short-term travel across the United States**. - **Clearance:** Active **Secret** clearance required - **Work model:** Remote with **up to 25–50% travel** ### Responsibilities - Work closely with customers to **integrate the LIGER GenAI platform** into their existing business processes - **Build new functionalities and enhancements** within the LIGER platform to meet customer needs - Ensure successful **deployment and initial configuration** of the LIGER platform - Support customers for **60–180 days post-sale**, then transition to a long-term project team - Conduct **proof-of-concept demonstrations** to showcase LIGER capabilities and value - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of **LIGER capabilities and limitations** - Provide technical **consulting, guidance, and support** during integration and deployment - Rapidly build new features into/around LIGER’s core platform based on customer feedback - Collaborate with the core product team to **integrate new features** into the product - Document and communicate **customer requirements and feedback** for continuous improvement - Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues with timely, effective solutions - Travel occasionally for direct customer engagements and support - Collaborate with internal teams (product management, engineering, support) to deliver seamless solutions ### Qualifications **Minimum Qualifications:** - **Active Secret clearance** - Advanced proficiency in **Python** - Extensive experience with **PostgreSQL** - Hands-on experience with **LLMs, NLP, and related AI technologies** solving real problems - Proven experience working with the **MEAN Stack**
