We're seeking a **Staff Data Platform Engineer** to define and build the data foundation of the AI Factory. **Role Overview:** Design and implement a unifying, knowledge-graph-centered API layer for human and agentic workflows. This hands-on technical leadership position connects configurations, requirements, software versions, test executions, files, signals, training data, and results through stable identities and typed relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** • Design platform architecture and data-modeling patterns • Implement production software and evaluate storage/compute technologies • Provide consistent access to storage and compute systems • Work directly with teams collecting and consuming mission-critical data • Balance developer productivity, semantic clarity, operational reliability, system performance, portability, and maintainability **About Shield AI:** Products include Hivemind autonomy software, V-BAT and X-BAT aircraft, and Aechelon simulation technologies.
