We're a growing team of researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to create beneficial AI. **About the Role** As an AI Engineer on the GTM Claudification team, you'll build agents and AI systems that power Anthropic's go-to-market work. You'll create autonomous agents that handle complete motions across inbound, outbound, and pipeline management, while building evaluation frameworks to prove they're production-ready. This is a senior role where you'll drive technical direction for agents and evals across the team. **Key Responsibilities** • Build and operate autonomous agents for go-to-market motions end-to-end • Design human oversight: approval gates, handoffs, and escalation paths • Develop evaluation frameworks for agent behavior in development and production • Instrument model and tool calls; build observability tied to pipeline and revenue • Ship MCP servers, agent skills, and web applications connecting to CRM and data systems • Set technical direction for how the team builds, evaluates, and operates agents • Architect shared codebases with strong conventions and review practices • Work directly with sellers to ground agent designs in real workflows • Maintain knowledge of latest LLM capabilities, agent frameworks, and eval techniques **Minimum Qualifications** • Strong programming in Python or TypeScript with production application experience • Production LLM experience: context engineering, agents, MCP, tool use, evals • Experience using evals and transcript analysis to debug LLM systems • Working fluency with SQL and data • Ability to navigate ambiguity and ship without a spec • Passion for safe, beneficial AI **Preferred Qualifications** • 8+ years as software engineer, ML engineer, or forward deployed engineer • Experience with Claude Code and Claude Agent SDK • GTM systems experience (CRM, sales engagement, enrichment) • Experience growing codebases with many contributors • Applied ML and experimentation background (A/B testing, propensity models, causal analysis) • Exceptional communication skills **Compensation & Logistics** 💰 $320,000 – $405,000 USD annually 📍 Hybrid (25% office minimum; some roles require more) 🎓 Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required ✅ Visa sponsorship available **We encourage applications from candidates who don't meet every qualification.** We value diverse perspectives and actively work to include underrepresented groups.
